Spirit's View on Sol 122 (3-D)

This 3-D cylindrical-perspective mosaic was created from navigation camera images that NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit acquired on sol 122.  Spirit is sitting at site 43 on her way to the Columbia Hills, which can be seen on the horizon.  Spirit will spend the next 37 sols or more en-route to the base of these hills in hopes of learning more about Gusev Crater's past.
